Create a profile for your dog
Every dog is unique – and you know yours best! Whether they’re shy and gentle, or playful and bold, a detailed profile helps dogs find the most compatible nearby playmates.
Plan your first dog date
Choose a neutral, quiet spot – like opposite sides of a park or across the street to begin with. Keep the meeting short but sweet, especially for nervous pups. Make sure your dog is well-exercised beforehand and be mindful of triggers.
The 3-Second rule
Don’t hesitate – start walking in the same direction within 3 seconds of seeing your match. Keep some distance between you. Focus on your dog and reward calm behaviour with their favourite treats. Make sure you’re relaxed as well!
Walk together
After the first successful meet, try another relaxed walk – a little closer this time. Let your dog guide you. Are they curious, cautious, or excited? Some dogs will love close company, whilst others may prefer parallel walking. That’s okay, you know your dog best.
